New Wings

The new wings feel small...but strong

I hesitantly spread them to test them out

And as I do I feel all the muscles in them flex

A feeling of freedom and wieghtlessness overpowers me

And I take off with love and thankfulness in my heart

Thank you Jesus for being my friend and flying next to me

Thank you for your love and grace everyday

Thank you for setting me free and giving me this beautiful set of wings

As I soar through the sky...I know you are there beside me

And the feeling is amazing...unmatchable

God is good...

Humongous ziplines and paintballing for the first time ever...amazing! My weekend was filled with fun strenuous activities and lots of awesome time with God. It was very refreshing. :) I all your weekends were good also. :)

In a land far far away....

........ya, I came from that land. And it wasn't very fun. ha, So it has been forever....but God has been teaching me lots in that time. Although I may not have known it at the time, TRUST is the main thing God was showing and teaching me and I have every reason under the sun to be thankful for His mery and grace...as I am. :) He has been showing me that starting completely new and fresh can be painful and hard at times....but altogether refreshing and good for me. :) It's been a crazy last few months, almost a yr actually, and although I regret some things, I wouldn't change them. Because if they didn't happen then I wouldn't be as grateful for this second chance that God has given me now. :) God truly is good.
